We would like to thank everyone who hosted the Stations in the Drum area. We really appreciated your hospitality and generosity and look forward to our next batch of Station Masses in the Autumn.

Drum/Clonown Community Games
– Good luck to the under 13 boys Tabletennis team going to Connaught Finals on Saturday 10th April and to the girls Basketball team going to Castlerea this Sunday 11th April.
– Athletics training commences at 1.30pm on Sunday 18th April in Johnstown.

Drum Cemetery Voluntary Group
We would ask people to attend the graves of their families/friends, if at all possible. Work is ongoing in the cemetery every Saturday from 11am to 3pm and we would be delighted if people could attend during this time to help identify unmarked graves. Many thanks to all our volunteers and to all who have supported the collection to date. If you wish to make a donation, please contact Drum Parish Office or any member of the committee. Monksland Area Mass
On Thursday 15th April at 8pm in Monksland Community Centre. All are welcome.

Monksland Active Age
A newly formed group, meeting in Monksland Community Centre every Thursday from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Everyone is very welcome – men and women of any age and from any area.

Drum Apostolic Workers
Sincere thanks to all who supported in any way their annual card game which was held recently in the Clann na nGael Clubhouse, Johnstown. A total of €600 was raised for the missions. Sr. Helena McEvilly, who is home from Nigeria for a holiday with her family, was in attendance on the night and thanked all present for their continous support of her work on the missions.

Passionfruit Theatre presents “The Hooded Well”

Drum Bingo
The Committee wishes to thank most sincerely all the young people of Drum who have been helping out at bingo in recent times. Many of the helpers are completing the Gaisce programme as part of Transition Year at St. Joseph’s College, Summerhill and St. Aloysius College, Athlone. These young people are providing great help to this vital community service. Bingo continues in Drum Community Centre every Friday night at 8.30pm, doors open at 8pm.
