Under 14 League
The Clann na nGael u-14 team played Roscommon Gaels in the league on Thursday evening last, Clann played some fine football and ran out comfortable winners.

Under 10 Blitz
Clann U-10’s had their first outing of the year when they took part in the Roscommon U-10 Go Games Blitz which was held in Hyde Park last Saturday morning. Clann fielded two teams in the tournament and both teams played very well. Other teams involved were St. Brigid’s, St. Domnick’s, Roscommon Gaels, Strokestown, Boyle and Padraig Pearses. Clann would like to thank the organisers of the blitz, the Roscommon Coaching and Games Development Committee.

Club Holiday
The Clann na nGael club holiday is on the cards again this year. The committee is still working on exact venues and prices but it’ll be sunny, warm and a guaranteed break from Ireland! The price will be in or around €500 and remember that 10% of lotto ticket sales will be contributed towards that cost. The dates have been decided as departing Ireland 2/3rd October returning on the weekend of the 9th/10th. Anyone interested in going on the holiday that has not been in contact with a member of the committee should do so straight away. A deposit of €150 is required for booking.

A note from Milltown GAA

Milltown GAA in association with “friends of Ollie” Charity are holding their first annual 10k event on 19th June @ 3.00pm.

Ollie Burke is a 34 yr old former player who had a serious accident 2 years ago. While carrying out electrical work he fell from a ladder suffering severe head injuries which resulted in an acquired brain injury. Ollie is now at home with his family and requires 24hr care. More information on

As part of the event we have a team competition with the first 4 people of a team past the post will win the “run for Ollie” Cup. We also have individual prizes.

This is a charity fun event, we welcome all to run/walk for this great cause.
