The Drum/Clonown U-12 Community Games girls were defeated by a very strong Corofin team in the Connacht Quarter Final on Friday evening last. Well done to the team for getting that far, which was a brilliant achievement.
Best of Luck to the Intermediate Ladies team who play Four Roads this Saturday at 7pm in Four Roads in their championship match.
Hard Luck to the three Clann girls who part of the Roscommon team who lost to Tipperary on Thursday evening last in the All-Ireland Minor B semi-final. Rosa Shine, Martina O’Brien and Michelle Harney-Nolan all played their part in the narrow defeat. Congratulations to Kayleigh Dunning and Orla O’Neill who both started in the U-16 championship against Galway and Mayo recently. They now play Mayo again in the B Final next Saturday despite beating them well last week.
