Junior A Championship
Clann na nGael 0–11 Creggs 0–6
The Clann na nGael junior A team took on Creggs in a sweltering Hyde Park on Sunday afternoon last. Clann settled early on and led at the break 0-7 to 0-5, thanks to some fine scores from the forward line and a Phelim O’Neill save.
The second half failed to take off as both defences were on top, it took 23 minutes for the deadlock to be broken when Clann seized the initiative and ran out deserving winners. Clann now top the group and go on to the quarter finals.

Senior Championship
The Clann na nGael senior team take on our near neighbours St Brigid’s in the quarter final this Sunday at 6pm in Johnstown. This is sure to be a tough game and the lads will need a vocal home support to give them a lift on the day, so come along and bring a friend.

Clann Referees
Two of Clann’s referees were in final action at the weekend. On Friday evening Sean Feeney was the in charge of the u 14 league final in Johnstown, while Kevin Naughton took charge of of the mid south junior B final on Sunday. Well done lads.

Under 16 Semi-Final
The Clann na nGael u16 team will play Strokestown in the county semi final in Ballyleague on Tuesday evening at 7pm. A large crowd is expected to cheer on the lads.
