Clann na nGael 2-10 Strokestown 1-9
The Clann na nGael Junior A team won their first game of the campaign with a hard fought win over Strokestown on a splendid Johnstown surface on Saturday evening last. Clann took control as the half wore on and goals from Dara Shine and Colin Nicholson put Clann 2-4 to 1-5 up at the break. Clann assumed control of the game in the second half and ran out deserving winners. Best for Clann were Darragh Egan, Alan Dunne, Phelim Lenehan and Seanie Walsh.
