Céad Míle Fáilte
Mercy Sisters, Athlone invite you to join them to mark the 170th Anniversary of the death of Catherine McAuley, Foundress of Sisters of Mercy (11 November 1841). Share a ‘cup of tea’ (which Catherine deemed so important) with them on Friday 11th November 2011 between 10am-4pm in 10 Cois Abhann (the glass foyer entrance on the corner of Lyster Street and Excise Street). If this is not possible, perhaps you might consider one of the following: 1. Light a candle on that day and remember (Mercy) or 2. Perform an act of compassion/mercy/kindness – small but effective!
