The Priests of the Parish wish you Peace and Joy this Eastertime and thank you and your Families for sharing in the Parish Holy Week Celebrations. Thank you for your ongoing support and participation in the life of the Parish. The Parish is indebted to all the good people who gave of their time and energy to make our Holy Week ceremonies worthy of the occassion. We thank all who took part in the ceremonies, Eacharistic Ministers, eaders, Choirs, Altar Servers and Sacristans.

Irish Dancing Classes

Drum Heritage Group

Drum Cemetery Voluntary Group
Work will resume on Saturday, 10th April (weather permitting). Sincere thanks to all who have participated and contributed to date.

Lá na gClub Auditions
For the Childrens Performance Section will be held on Sunday 11th April from 10.30am to 1pm in Clann na nGael Club House, Johnstown. Contact Maureen Cunniffe for more information @ 086-3493569. Lá na gClub will be held on Sunday 9th May.

Clonown 10km Sponsored Walk

Bowling Fundraiser
In aid of Sr. Helena McEvilly’s Nigerian Mission Fund will be held in Athlone Bowling Alley on Friday night 23rd April. Team of 4: €80. For more details contact Martin at 090-6437118.

Southern Gaels Hurling Club
Are looking for any volunteers interested in assisting with the Underage Structure for the coming year. Underage training every Saturday in Athlone Regional Sports Centre. Children from age of 6 upwards are welcome. The adult club is also seeking new or returning hurlers to make a special effort this year.
