-Art & Model Making Competition on Saturday 12th February from 10am-1pm in Monksland Community Centre. Art: under 8 to under 16 (boys and girls. Model Making: under 10 to under 16 (boys and girls). Please bring your own materials.

Special programme on Athlone Community Radio 88.4FM this Sunday at 3pm, including interviews with members of Drum Heritage Group.

Childcare Course

Computer Training for Older People
Transition Year students in St. Joseph’s College, Summerhill are offering free, one to one computer training for those aged 55 years and over. Choice of times: Wednesday 9.30-11am or Thursday 9.30am-12.15pm. To sign up, call 090-6492383.

Samaritan Annual Concert
Will be held in the Friary Church, Athlone on Thursday 10th February at 8pm. Featuring the Army Band of the 4th Western Brigade, soloist Simon Casey and St Peter’s School Choir. Admission €10 and tickets are available at Musicworld and Castle Gift Shop.

World Day of the Sick
There will be a special mass for the sick with anointing in Ss. Peter & Paul’s Church on Friday 11th February at 7.30pm. All welcome.
