Drum/Clonown Community Games
Thanks for supporting our church gate collection this Easter weekend. Gymnastics training starting shortly – all interested should contact Sheila Ward on 086-8747605.

Scrap Metal Collection
Clann na nGael GAA club will collect for free the following scrap metal: crashed cars, all household metals, loose scrap and batteries. Collection days will be on Saturdays. Contact Ollie on 087-2988132 or Pádraig 087-1699687.

Easter Envelopes
Are available at the back of the church for anyone who may not have received them.

Fancy Dress Cycle
A Fancy Dress Cycle through the town of Athlone will take place on Sunday 1st May 2011 at 2pm to raise money for a new Sensory Unity for children with Autism at Summerhill Primary School. It is organised by Athlone Chernobyl Aid Project. If you are interested in participating call DB Cycles on 090-6492280 or Martin Reilly on 086-2450605.

Cross River Anglers
Senior Fishing Competition on Saturday 30th April, starting at The Mill at 2pm.

‘Dear Frankie’
Dear Frankie, a play that tells the life story of Raidió Éireann agony aunt Frankie Byrne, will be performed in the Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone on Wednesday 27th April at 8pm. It’s a real trip down memory lane! Further details on www.fivelampstheatrecompany.ie
