It is with shock and deep sadness we have learned of the death of our friend and colleague, Tommy Harney. He passed away on Tuesday 17 April 2012. Tommy was a founding member of Drum Community Sports and Social Centre Ltd. He gave tirelessly of himself over the years to the building and running of the centre, and was an active member of the local community.
Remains will be reposing at his residence, Creggane, Cornafulla today Thursday from 4pm to 9pm. Removal on Friday morning to St. Brigid’s Church, Drum, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, followed by burial in the local cemetery.
As a mark of respect, Drum Parish Bingo will not go ahead this Friday night, 20 April 2012 at Drum Community Centre.
